My giveaway winning

Hi guys, I was going to try to post once a week, but that has gone by the wayside already!!!!  I just keep putting it off, as I wanted to tell you about my trip to our New Hobby Lobby in my area.  Only 45 min away.  It's a BIG store.  Alot of home decor.  And of course craft items.  They have material.  Love looking at different material, although, there was alot there that Jo-Ann's carry.  What surprised me most about this store....no Sunday hours!!!!  They don't scan things at the cash register, so if your item doesn't have a price amount on it, better find something that does.  And they had paint books!!!!!  Laurie Speltz, Mary Jo Tuttle, Sue Jerrigan, but no Terrye Frenche or Monica Brint, if you want the prim painters.  And they close at 8 p.m.  The store was so overwhelming to me, that I just looked, bought 3 items.  But, if I need anything, I know where to find it!!!!!

Sometime back in Dec. Deb from Paxton Valley Folk Art was having a giveaway and I won the candlemat.  She also included a Believe sign.  It is gorgeous.  Can't wait for Christmas to come this year so I can have it out all month!!!!!  Deb had everything in it's only little bag. 

Deb apolozied for not sending it in Dec and wanted to make up for the delay by sending me some Valentine items.

And love the dove!!!!!  Can you see the glitter!!!  And Deb cross-stitched 4 x's to attach the wing.

And there's where I hung the dove, in the middle of my valentine garland in the dining room.  The living room has the holly garland with lights on the other side.  I leave some things up, cause when you take down all those Christmas items, it looks so bare, so I take it down gradually.  I see my tree back there needs to get some red in it!!!!

Will try to do better in the future.  I have 50 weeks to try and be better!!! lol

    Hi Lois, Love your giveaway items. So sweet to send Valentine decor as well. I visitied the Hobby Lobby here in SC yesterday. I was surprised to find they had a 5lb. box of our Morning Glory stuffing but the price was $19.99. A little to steep for me. Haven't been able to find it at home since Walmart stoppped carrying it. Enjoy your day and have a wondderful weekend.

    Hi Lois,
    wish we had a Hobby Lobby close by! I have to shop their online store, it's just not the same as going to a store though. I think more stores should be closed on Sundays! They always were when I was growing up and we all survived didn't we?
    Cute stuff from Deb too! The dove is way cool.
    Well, it's cold again today but the sun is shining-cosmetic sunshine we call it when it's 10 degrees!

    Lois, so glad your package arrived safely and that you like it! Thanks again for your patience in waiting for it to arrive :O) I love where you have the dove hung, it looks wonderful with your Valentine's garland! And I know what you mean about the house looking so bare after the Christmas decorations have been taken down, good idea to do it gradually so it's not such a shock!     Love Hobby Lobby!! One day I spent 4 hours in there, yes you read that right! My husband was in disbelief when he called me and I was still shopping. :-)

    I have to laugh about your trip to Hobby Lobby. I worked there for 19 years. Yes, it is an overwhelming store... much to look at! But a fun place to shop, fun to work also but it really is hard work. Plus the 40% off coupon comes in pretty handy too! Glad you are enjoying it.

    Lovely goodies from Deb! Very sweet of her to send you some extras. I have some vintage metal red hearts for my year round tree... need to get on that, thank you for reminding me! =]

    Wait, where is the Hobby Lobby? I think that I seriously missed something and I had a hard time reading hte rest of your post. Great giveaway wins, though! These little falling hearts are making it hard fro me to type...sorry about the typos!
