I won a giveaway!!!

I changed to Easter so better get some Easter things showing!!

My how time flies.  I guess I was having fun???  But it sure flew by!!!

Oh, yeah, I said I would show pictures from Shrove Tues.  And they would have been great pictures.  We do some sort of TV games and this year we had two families do Fear Factor.  But, before they started they got all the little kids up front and blindfolded them and gave them gummy worms, cooked pasta and sour gummy worms!!!!  You should have seen their faces!!!!  Oh, that's right, I forgot my camera!!!!

So moving on.  Vicky at Paintspots and Splinters was having a Facebook 400th follower giveaway.  I was the lucky winner.  Here is the bunny I won.

Now isn't he just the cutest little bunny you've ever seen???  Well, he's not little!!!  15" high!!!

A cute butterfly card

Thanks Vicky.

A week later!!!

I promised pics of our town visit during an Ice Festival, which was last weekend.  Where did last week go to???  It was a sunny day, I really couldn't see what I was doing, just hoping the ice scuplture was centered!!!!  Monica didn't get to come with us.  In the middle of the week, she was invited to a birthday party.  Let's see.....birthday party....go with grandma and grandpa????  And they were going bowling for the party, so a no-brainer there!!!!!  So, here are a couple of pics I took.

And they take people on a little ride.  They have ice scupltures around the diamond at some of the business, but my leg couldn't take any more walking and we went around the diamond twice!!!!  And we got parked right there, so didn't have far to go to get to the car!!!!

Our next thing is Shrove Tues, which is next week...already.  But Easter is coming early this year...March 31st.

See you then,

Lois

Sledding

As I said, I couldn't get my pics so am behind in posting this.  This was the week after Christmas we finally got more than a dusting.    Monica is coming down the driveway.
Where Monica is now, is at the top of a little hill in the front yard that goes down to the driveway.
There she is at the bottom.

Before going down....again!!!!

Hopefully more pics after this weekend.  Going to a town that is doing ice scupltures.  We've taken her since she was a year and half old!!!  She missed one year...she was sick!!!
Hopefully I can walk better.  I fell on the ice two weeks ago and pulled my inner thigh muscle slightly.  Then two nights later, I pulled it good since it was already pulled.  I sleep with a pillow between my knees and lost my pillow and my feet find it and reposition it.  That's when I really pulled it.  Been walking with a cane..that helps, but tired of only carrying things with one hand!!!!! hahaha  But I'm still shopping!!!!!  Been resting it this week since it's so cold out, haven't even gone up for the mail!!!

Later guys

A little late.......

Better late than never!!!!  Well, for one thing, blogger changed how to get into my picture files.  I keep checking and today, it was back to normal.  So, I didn't want to do this again, so I just attached all my pics and now I'll write!!!!!
The first pic is her getting an I-Pod.
Her Stompeezs!!!!!  Santa got her a pair!!!  And her Uncle got her a pair.  They are at our house!!!!
Her Daisy Red Ryder BB gun!!!  Grandpa is going to teach her how to shoot it.
And her American Girl doll is helping her open a present.  It was for the doll!!!!

Well, we are in the deep freeze...for this week.  I heard the forcast for next week, we will be in the 40's and 50's!!!!!  Wow, from one extreme to the other!!!!

Hope everyone is staying warm.

Till next time,

Lois
