A week later!!!

I promised pics of our town visit during an Ice Festival, which was last weekend.  Where did last week go to???  It was a sunny day, I really couldn't see what I was doing, just hoping the ice scuplture was centered!!!!  Monica didn't get to come with us.  In the middle of the week, she was invited to a birthday party.  Let's see.....birthday party....go with grandma and grandpa????  And they were going bowling for the party, so a no-brainer there!!!!!  So, here are a couple of pics I took.

And they take people on a little ride.  They have ice scupltures around the diamond at some of the business, but my leg couldn't take any more walking and we went around the diamond twice!!!!  And we got parked right there, so didn't have far to go to get to the car!!!!

Our next thing is Shrove Tues, which is next week...already.  But Easter is coming early this year...March 31st.

See you then,

Lois

  2. Wow, those pictures are amazing Lois. Would melt here before they could be constructed. {ha}. Glad you got to go. Guess Monica is growing up,,, something I will miss with Darbee Rae a little later on. Feel you pain with your leg. I can hardly walk for long at a time with mine. One of the gifts of getting older I guess. Take care and thanks for sharing.

  6. Impressive ice sculptures. In the south we don't experience snow like you guys do.
