A short month

Our shortest month and I think the busiest!!!!  We had groundhog day today, which he saw his shadow so 6 more weeks of winter!!!!  Winter....what's that.  We haven't had much winter.  I'm not complaining, but when we want to see the spring flowers, there's going to be snow on the ground!!!!
Then comes Valentine's Day.  A day for all the lovers out there.  We don't do to much, as hubby's birthday is the the 12th.  I did get engaged on Valentine's day 39 years ago.
Then we have President's Day to honor George Washington and Abraham Lincoln.  William Henry Harrison was also born this month as was Ronald Reagan.
And this is a leap year.  We're always saying we need some extra hours/days, well, we get an extra day this year.
With 2 less days, we'll be into March before we know it!!!!
Then spring won't be far behind....hopefully!!!!

Welcome my new followers and faithful readers.  I enjoy all the comments I get.  Keep them coming.

  1. February has always been a busy month for our family. We us it's all of the above and several family members celebrate their birthdays. I can't think of another month in the year that we eat so much cake. Have a great weekend.

  2. LOL, love the frogs Lois, too cute! Hopefully the ground hog was wrong (although I hear there were differing predictions depending upon which ground hog you prefer!) and that Spring comes soon. Yes, March will be here before you know it, hopefully it will be a lamb! Deb

  5. Yep, lots going on this month! We actually haven't had a winter storm at all. One time we had an inch of snow that melted within hours so we wouldn't mind some snow around here, I hope we get some!

I just blogged about your adorable X's and O's! =] Thank you again!!!
